Girls on the Farm

This week we had 3 granddaughters come to visit. We spent one morning cleaning out the toy and game closet and the former toy cubby which is now a reading cubby. It was a big project, but they were great helpers for me, so we quickly got it done. While rearranging the puzzle shelf, Rachel discovered a 3-D puzzle that she wanted to try out.

The girls were also the guinea pigs for one of their aunt's food blog. They also decorated bonnets to wear to the farm today.

This morning we made tin foil dinners to cook in the fire and packed the car to go to the farm. It was hot, but we found the energy to do several things during our time there.

Cassidy enjoyed helping visitors learn to play a pioneer game.

They all panned for gold....

They even got to try out the train...

Jocelyn became an expert at the 'can game'. She can make the rock go past the can and then knock it off the log on the back swing!

It was fun having them visit with us for a few days.
