Over the years, as the kids came along and went to school, our collection of unique ornaments increased. It was always fun to see what they came home with from school or Primary.
Jana made the little beaded Christmas tree ornament.
The twirly green plastic ornament was the product of a junior high school shop class.
What would Christmas be without salt dough ornaments. We generally had to hang them near the center of the tree where the branches were sturdy enough to bear their weight. On the left there, you see the 'snake with clothes'.
Somewhere along the line, some teachers got the idea to use walnuts or their shells for ornament projects. As you see, they ranged from strawberries to mangers to E.T.
Another teacher-loved ornament ingredient was shredded wheat used to make lovely wreaths.
