Boxelder Burl Bowl

A year ago the woodworker was given a large burl from a local Box Elder tree.  He decided to turn it part way and then put it into the kiln to dry.  Recently he turned it the rest of the way to see what could be made of it.  Burls are interesting because the wood grain goes all different ways.  The woodworker likes bowls with oddities left in them as you can see in this one that he made.
