When the grandchildren come to visit, they often like to do a project in the garage with Grandpa. This past weekend was no different, but this time, instead of making a project for themselves, it was decided that a service project would be just the thing. Grandpa cut animal shapes out of wood.
The drill press was used to make holes for the eyes.
The children all worked hard at sanding the animals.
Then the wheels were attached.
The finished toys will be given to an agency that helps provide Christmas for children in foster care.
Good work!
