It was still March last weekend, but the sky was blue and the temperature went up to 80 degrees so it was time for a little barbecue and family reunion. The woodworker's sister and her husband needed some time in the sun after a particularly bad Alaskan winter this year so booked some space in Las Vegas. Since that is in reasonable driving distance, they decided to come on up and see us and our 3 children and their families who live in this general area. The forecast called for high winds, but luckily they didn't get bad until we were through. The daffodils are all blooming as well as the forsythia bushes. Many of the local fruit trees are also in bloom or close to it.
It was great to visit with them and the food and sunshine were good as well.
